About SVA SAFE
SVA SAFE is the official safety application of School of Visual Arts. It is the only application that integrates with the School of Visual Arts's safety and security systems. SVA Security has worked to develop a special application that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the School of Visual Arts campus. The application will send you necessary safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.
SVA SAFE features include:
- Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the School of Visual Arts space in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern
- Mobile Bluelight: Send your space to SVA Security in real-time in case of a crisis
- Report a Tip: Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to SVA Security.
- Mate Walk: Send your space to a mate through email or SMS on your device. Once the mate accepts the Mate Walk request, the user picks their destination and their mate tracks their space in real time; they can hold an eye on them to create sure they create it safely to their destination.
- Virtual WalkHome: Let SVA Security to monitor a user’s walk. If a user feels unsafe when walking on campus, they can request a Virtual WalkHome and a dispatcher on the other end will monitor their journey until they reach their destination.
- Campus Map: Navigate around the School of Visual Arts area.
- Transit Map: Find transit routes currently in service.
- Help Resources: Access help resources in 1 convenient application to have fun a successful experience at School of Visual Arts.
- Safety Notifications: Get instant notifications and instructions from School of Visual Arts safety when on-campus emergencies occur.
